Workforce Readiness Initiative

In today’s labor market we find employers at a disadvantage when looking for top talent due to the unemployment rate. We are also facing a skills gap that prevents us from finding the right people to meet our staffing needs. We want to use AASHRM as a tool to bridge the gap between employers’ needs and the necessary training for applicants to be prepared with the necessary skill set be successful. One way for us to do this is to become involved with all of our members to be aware of the open positions that they are having difficulty filling, the skills that are missing from the applicant pool and provide members in transition with some opportunities.
